March Madness Road Trip Diary

Day 13: Royersford, PA

  • Home, Sweet Home

We landed on time, picked up the car and headed home.  While enjoying the legroom and wider seat, Abby confessed that she didn’t like the red eye in first class because she couldn’t lean over and snooze on me.  This is probably the only time I’ve ever heard someone say that they’d rather be in coach!!

It has taken months to find the time and energy to document this entire trip.  Part of me wishes that I could’ve just thrown up a quick diary and be done.  But at the end of the day, something inside me was nagging to make this much more detailed, almost like I needed to save it for posterity.  While La Salle may make the Sweet Sixteen again- the opportunity to spend so much time together with Abby was truly once in a lifetime.  And that deserved something better than a quick blog.

Our Father-Daughter bonding started in Dayton and traveled across the country. I will cherish the memories forever.
